WHO WE ARE

PostStay™ is the referral and placement gateway for The Restora Collective — A PostStay™ Property, a private-pay, non-medical recovery residence in Durham, North Carolina.

Families connect with The Restora Collective.
Clinicians use PostStay™ for placement coordination.

Our process ensures prompt communication and a professional, predictable workflow.

APPROPRIATE REFERRALS

PostStay™ is appropriate for medically stable adults who:

  • Are cleared for discharge

  • Are fully independent with all ADLs

  • Can move independently (assistive devices acceptable if safely)

  • Can self-administer all medications

  • Do not require skilled nursing

  • Do not require memory care

  • Do not require behavioral supervision

  • Can navigate a single-story home independently

  • Needs a safe place before returning home

Not appropriate for placement:

  • Memory care or dementia

  • Behavioral instability

  • Skilled nursing needs

  • Ventilator use

  • Medication administration

  • Withdrawal, detox, or active substance use

  • Fall-risk requiring hands-on support

  • Wandering or unsafe nighttime behavior

We remain fully aligned with NC DHHS non-medical housing standards.

WHAT WE PROVIDE

(NON-MEDICAL MODEL)

Hospitality-first, environment-focused, fully non-medical.

Included Services:

  • Private bedroom in furnished single-story residence

  • Chef-prepared meals (daily rotation)

  • Housekeeping (weekly)

  • Daily Home Environment Check - ensuring both private rooms and common areas remain safe, clean, and functioning (non-medical; environmental-focused only)

  • 24/7 on-site presence

  • Transportation coordination (upon request)

  • High-speed WiFi, utilities, and supplies

  • Family communication support
    We do not provide clinical updates.

We do NOT Provide:

  • Medication administration

  • ADL assistance

  • Skilled nursing

  • Vital checks, wellness checks, or monitoring

  • Clinical assessments

  • Hands-on support

  • Therapy or medical services (including arranging or coordinating therapy on a patient’s behalf)

This keeps us fully compliant with North Carolina’s non-medical housing standards.

RATES & LENGTH OF STAY

Private-Pay, All-Inclusive Rates

Rates for PostStay™ placement typically range from $6,000–$7,500 per 30-day stay, depending on room type and length of stay.

Final rates are provided once a room is offered.

Length of Stay

Most guests remain 30–60 days, with extension options available.

Step 1 — Submit Inquiry

Referral partners may submit via referral form, email, or phone.
We acknowledge all referrals within one business day.

Step 2 — Eligibility Review

  • Referring clinician confirms medical stability and ADL independence.

  • PostStay™ confirms room availability and non-medical eligibility.

Step 3 — Family Coordination

We review pricing, expectations, and next steps with the family.
An admission decision is made together.

Step 4 — Placement Timeline

Placement timelines will be published upon facility opening.
